There is no greater moment for me at times than when I am elbows deep in a sweet, buttery dough kneading all of my worries away. Baking my Nana's kolache recipe is as much about personal enlightenment as it is about eating the pastry itself. My kolaches are not what you would find at your mainstream grocer. There are sweet as well as savory concoctions all of which will be sure to take your tongue through a roller coaster ride of tantalizing tastes. Do not be alarmed those who love to keep it simple, because I respect simplicity too! My kolaches can be purchased by visiting this ridiculously long web address courtesy of etsy.com:

Make no mistake my foodie friends, each kolache is packed full of passion and is sure to flatter your palette. The following images were taken by my dear friend Jane Fischer and are a snapshot of some of my most precious creations.
